Ordering and Commissions

Everything is made to order, so there is no online checkout. Send a commission request through the form at the top of this page, or stop by Booth #211 at the Texas Renaissance Festival, and we will take it from there.

It depends on the piece, the leather and the detail work. Small Booth Favorites like bracers and mug straps are an easy place to start, and every commission gets a written quote built around your design, so there are no surprises.

It depends on the piece and how busy the shop is. Most armor takes several weeks. Tell us your event date up front and you will get an honest answer about whether it can be ready in time.

Yes. A deposit reserves your place in the build schedule and covers materials.

Full-body suits are measured in person, at the festival store or by appointment at the Missouri City workshop. Smaller pieces can often be made from measurements you send us.

Yes. Visit the festival store at Booth #211 during the Texas Renaissance Festival season to try armor on and talk through your commission face to face. The Missouri City workshop is not a walk-in store, so visits there are by invitation only.

Yes. Bring reference images and Odin will tell you how to make it work in real leather and steel.

Leather Armor

Every type of leather, from soft garment-grade hides for jerkins, pouches and clothing to heavy armor-grade leather that can be molded and hardened to hold its shape for years. Your piece gets the leather that suits how it will be worn.

Yes. The color, tooling, hardware and overall style are your call. Norse, fantasy, pirate, Roman, sci-fi or something entirely your own, Odin can make it.

Faire wear is built for comfort and looks through long festival weekends. Battle-grade armor is built to take hits in LARP and combat events. Tell us how you plan to use it and your piece will be made for that.

Yes. Female leather armor is shaped and fitted for real bodies, so it moves with you and stays comfortable all day.

All leatherwork is made under the Asgardian Armory name, by Odin and the artisans who work through his shop.

Chainmail and Scalemail

Breanne makes every piece of chainmail and scalemail in the shop by hand.

Steel when you want strength and weight, and aluminum when you want the look without the load.

All types of designs, from coifs and sleeves to scale shirts and accents for your leather armor. Pick a weave, a pattern or a color scheme and Breanne will build it.

Yes. Chainmail jewelry is one of the smaller pieces usually on hand at the booth.

Swords, Knives and Daggers

The swords, knives and daggers sold through Asgardian Armory are forged by a skilled bladesmith who works with our shop.

Nearly all of them are battle-ready. Ask about any specific piece and you will get a straight answer.

Yes. Pair your blade with a custom leather scabbard, sheath, frog or baldric made to fit it exactly and tooled to match your armor.

Shipping and Pickup

Many pieces can ship. It depends on the item and where it is going, so just ask when you send your request.

Yes. You can pick up your piece at the festival store at Booth #211 and get a final fitting while you are there.
