Built Around You

Armor That Fits the Way You Move

Most leather armor sold online comes in one or two sizes and ships out hoping for the best. It gaps at the chest, digs into your hips when you sit and rides up the first time you raise your arms. Custom leather armor is built the other way around. It starts with your measurements and the way you plan to move, then gets cut, shaped and assembled to match.

That is the difference you feel at the end of a long faire weekend. Straps land where your shoulders actually are. Plates overlap without pinching. A breastplate shaped to your chest stays put whether you are walking the lanes at the Texas Renaissance Festival, swinging a foam sword at a LARP event or standing for photos at a convention.

Full-body suits are measured in person, at Booth #211 during the festival season or by appointment at the Missouri City workshop, so every piece lands where it should.

Every Piece of Your Armor

Order a single piece to finish a costume you already love, or build a full suit from the ground up.

Breastplates and Cuirasses

The centerpiece of most kits. Shaped to your chest and back, with straps and buckles sized to you.

Pauldrons

Layered shoulder armor that moves with your arms instead of fighting them.

Bracers and Vambraces

Forearm armor, tooled, laced or plated, in whatever style your character calls for.

Tassets and Faulds

Hip and thigh protection that hangs from your belt or breastplate and still lets you sit, walk and climb.

Greaves

Leg armor shaped to your shins and finished to match the rest of your kit.

Full Suits

Head-to-knee harness designed as one set, so every piece shares the same leather, color and detail.

Garment Grade to Armor Grade

The Right Leather for the Job

Every type of leather passes through the shop, from soft garment-grade hides to heavy armor-grade leather. Supple leather suits jerkins, pouches and anything that needs to drape. Thick armor-grade leather can be molded and hardened, so a breastplate or helm holds its shape through years of festival weekends.

You choose the color, the tooling, the hardware and the style. Norse raider, elven ranger, knight, pirate, Roman legionary or something nobody has a name for yet. Bring a sketch, a screenshot or a reference photo and the shop will turn it into armor that belongs to you.

Every piece is made by hand under the Asgardian Armory name and proudly made in the U.S.A.
